HOW WE FORMULATE
From literature, to formula, to batch.
The formulation pipeline isn't trade secret — it's the operating method. Every Stellar product passes through the same six-step protocol before it ships.
THE SIX-STEP PROTOCOL
Every formula passes through the same pipeline.
The chain is documented and ordered. Skipping a step disqualifies a formula from release.
01 · LITERATURE
Published research review.
Peer-reviewed clinical literature for each candidate ingredient — efficacy data, dose range, safety profile, interaction context.
02 · OPTIMIZATION
AI literature screen.
Models cross-reference candidate ingredient combinations and dose ratios against published clinical data — flagging conflicts, redundancies, and dose-rationale gaps.
03 · JUSTIFICATION
Per-ingredient dose justification.
Each ingredient's dose is mapped to the dose range studied in published research. Out-of-range doses require explicit rationale or are dropped.
04 · SYNERGY
Interaction screening.
Combinations are screened for redundancy, antagonism, and known interaction risks. The screen runs against the AI literature pass and against safety databases.
05 · AUDIT
Pre-manufacturing audit.
Clinical Index reviews the formula against the methodology rubric before any production run is authorized. Outstanding gaps must close before manufacture.
06 · VERIFICATION
Independent lab verification.
Each production batch is tested at an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory. The certificate of analysis is issued by the lab and audited by Clinical Index before release.
THE OPERATING PRINCIPLE
WHY THE PIPELINE LOOKS THIS WAY
Each step exists to make the next step honest.
Literature review without dose justification produces marketing claims. Dose justification without interaction screening produces unsafe combinations. Interaction screening without independent verification produces unverifiable products.
The pipeline is sequential by design. Every step gates the next, and every step is documented.
The audit and verification layers are operationally outside the brand. Clinical Index runs the methodology audit. The ISO/IEC 17025 accredited lab issues the certificate. Neither answers to Stellar's product roadmap.
