RESEARCH LIBRARY
The published literature behind every Stellar formula.
Research is where formulation starts. This is the open reference layer — ingredient deep-dives, methodology essays, and the COA library where customers verify any batch by lot number.
WHY A RESEARCH LIBRARY
THE REFERENCE LAYER
Methodology is what we did. Research is the work that informed it.
Methodology pages document how Stellar formulates and verifies. Research is one layer beneath: the published clinical literature, ingredient context, and per-batch verification documents that the methodology rests on.
It's organized for the documentation-reader — the customer who looks up PMIDs before they read marketing.
The library expands as the line grows. New ingredients get deep-dive pages, new batches add COAs, and methodology essays are added as the framework evolves.
BROWSE BY TYPE
Three reference surfaces.
RESEARCH / INGREDIENTS
Ingredient deep-dives.
Per-ingredient pages with mechanism, dose-response evidence, safety profile, and references to the studies that informed the Stellar dose.
Browse ingredients →RESEARCH / ARTICLES
Methodology essays.
Long-form writing on how Stellar formulates, where the Clinical Index methodology came from, and what we're working through as the framework evolves.
Read essays →RESEARCH / COAS
COA library.
Lab-issued certificates of analysis for every production batch, accessible by lot number. Heavy metals, microbials, ingredient identity, active standardization.

-
01 Shilajit fulvic complex PRIMAVIA 250mg
Why this dose
Standardized at the dose range used in human studies of fulvic-acid bioavailability and mitochondrial output, not at the trace amounts common in convenience-priced shilajit products.
Mechanism
Supports cellular energy production by contributing fulvic acid and dibenzo-α-pyrones implicated in CoQ10 transport.
Source(s)
-
02 Urolithin A MITOPURE 500mg
Why this dose
Published clinical-trial dosing range that produced detectable mitophagy biomarker shifts in adults; lower doses tested in earlier studies did not reach the same biomarker shift.
Mechanism
Activates mitophagy — the cell's recycling process for damaged mitochondria.
Source(s)
-
03 Nicotinamide Riboside NIAGEN 300mg
Why this dose
Matches the upper safe-and-effective dose range from human pharmacokinetics studies of NAD+ precursor supplementation.
Mechanism
Serves as a precursor for NAD+ — a cofactor required by sirtuins and mitochondrial enzymes.
Source(s)
-
04 CoQ10 (ubiquinol) 100mg
Why this dose
Anchored to the dose range used in cardiovascular and bioenergetic clinical trials. Ubiquinol form is selected for higher bioavailability vs ubiquinone.
Mechanism
Electron transport in the mitochondrial respiratory chain.
Source(s)
-
05 PQQ 20mg
Why this dose
Held at the dose where a 2013 human study observed inflammation and mitochondrial-related metabolism shifts.
Mechanism
Cofactor implicated in mitochondrial biogenesis; reduces mitochondrial oxidative stress in vitro.
Source(s)
-
06 Astaxanthin ASTAREAL 12mg
Why this dose
Held at the upper end of the human-trial range for cardiovascular and oxidative-stress endpoints. Algae-derived to match study sourcing.
Mechanism
Lipid-phase antioxidant with reported activity in cell membranes and mitochondrial inner membrane.
Source(s)
-
07 Alpha-Lipoic Acid (R-isomer) 300mg
Why this dose
R-isomer is the bioactive form. Dose anchored to clinical-trial range for mitochondrial cofactor support.
Mechanism
Cofactor for mitochondrial enzymes; recycles other antioxidants in vivo.
-
08 BioPerine® PIPERINE 5mg
Why this dose
Standardized at the dose used in absorption-enhancement studies for co-administered actives.
Mechanism
Inhibits intestinal glucuronidation; can increase bioavailability of co-administered ingredients.

COA LIBRARY
Per-batch certificates of analysis.
Searchable by SKU and lot number. Each batch's COA is published as a PDF. The lab partner's name and accreditation are documented per entry.

HOW THIS LIBRARY IS GOVERNED
Four reference principles.
01 · PRIMARY
Peer-reviewed first.
We anchor to peer-reviewed clinical research over secondary sources. PMIDs are linked where claims appear.
02 · TRACEABLE
Every batch is documented.
Each production lot has a COA on file. Customers can verify any unit by lot number.
03 · OPEN
Methodology is public.
Audit process, scoring criteria, and the per-claim source list are inspectable rather than walled-off.
04 · VERSIONED
Evolving, not fixed.
Methodology changes are dated and explained. When the framework improves, the change is logged here.
VERIFY
Look up any Stellar batch by lot.
Every production lot is documented at an independent ISO/IEC 17025 accredited lab. Customers can review the certificate of analysis.
